I love the history of worlg war II and I just love this app.

Outstanding magazine read it all month till new one comes out

One of the best mags out there on what it was like on a generations experiences I missed!

The best for all aspects of WWII. i enjoy the home front articles as much as the battle articles.

I can not be better informed. This is terrific.

I have read a few books. I like how the magazine brings the time to life. I enjoy seeing what was going on in the home front. Would be 5 stars but have had troubles downloading the current issue.

Each of the articles are very informative and well written. America in WWII magazine publisher James Kushlan, pg. 2, December 2011 issue, speaks of being "...blessed with a great team of talented people, all working hard to make something wonderful happen." His statement holds true as I read each story and visualize through mental images within my mind what was occurring. The authors truly are making something wonderful happen. If I could have one thing added it would be the ability to make each article go into "text" mode for greater ease of reading. While the option is always available to zoom in, I find it far better for reading through the use of a "text" option.

American History Magazine is a quality read and my pleasure to browse through at any time of the day!

As a 30s-40s buff I have read, toured, and watched much of the history surrounding our greatest generation. While many periodicals focus on military and tactics, you get that and much, much more. From life at home to life at the front, from politics to puns to music....great slice if life from this era. While it is distinctly American in its view, it provides a nice historical perspective from many facets of life during WW II. Highly recommend, especially the twice yearly specials!

Very nice app. Easy to browse and use. I like it as much as the hard copy of the magazine.

This military history magazine is one of the beds in the industry. I have recommended to anyone interested inWorld War II and its beginning middle and end. My mother was married to three World War II veterans who served in various branches of the service and so the discussion of military history with the constant factor around our house. I highly recommend it and good luck with the continued publish of this magazine.
